That’s Where It All Begun

After this blog post, I fell in love with nail art and decided no matter what to recreate the manicure I loved so much. It took a little over one year to get all the ingredients: skill, right nail polish and right stamping plates. The biggest obstacle was getting plates- the manufacturer is located in Russiam and, unfortunately, they didn’t accept electronic payments, not shipped outside of the country. However, the company got much bigger in the last year, and by Christmas of 2014 I finally was able to order these stamping plates. It took them 3 months to arrive! But the wait was worth it! The quality of engravings is remarkable. DSC_01151 DSC_01381For this manicure I used:

Deborah Lippmann “Let’s Hear It for the Boy”

Different Dimension “Heavenly Waters”

Illamasqua is one of my favorite nail polish brands. I was very bummed when I found out that they won’t be selling it at Sephora anymore. It is very sad because I don’t want to pay $20 for shipping from England.

Anyway, this week I was requested by my husband to paint my nails purple. It was a tough choice- I own almost 20 purple nail polishes. But here are the winners of this race:

Oh, Kryptonite, what are you doing to me?

This is my first nail related blog post, and I’m not sure what to say. However, if you like what you see, you can find me on Instagram: NailsByShurik

I have been craving beautiful “Kryptonite” by Picture Polish for a long time now. And finally, nail polish gods were nice enough to me! I really like its formula and the sparkle. It water marbles and stamps perfectly- that’s what I love about Pictures!
